Another week, another CPC game is released for free... This one will run on any CPC as it only needs 64K and is a remake of a Spanish ZX Spectrum game from the '80s and has given the game a complete overhaul. Graphics and sound are prettry good so here is a Vid and some links to the free version and the tape edition.
Another really colourful, smooth, platform / puzzler to solve for lovers of the CPC range.
Has anyone heard at all from Diablo67 (Shaun) recently?
He's disappeared completely off my radar off late and it would be great to know that he's OK...?
Cheers once more, Vyper - your threads are always appreciated, mate.
Sorry, not heard from or seen Shaun for a long time. I don't know if he is on the CPC Wiki forum as I have no idea of his ID, there is no Diablo67 on there I have just checked. Sorry I couldn't be more help.
I don't mind posting Baz, I have a lot of time on my hands and it keeps the mind ticking over. The forum is Atari focussed but it's good to have a small part covering what happens on the other 8-Bits a lot of the ones like the Oric, Amstrad and Spectrum or MSX were never released in the US or had a very small impact. Even your Combat Lynxified BBC Model B wasn't a rip-roaring success. I think the thing that the CPC has shown me is there is a 8-Bit scene in other parts of Europe, I had no idea how popular the Spectrum,CPC and MSX were in Spain and the games coming from that region are top notch. My friend Juan Ramirez is taking a break from CPC games and writing a game for the MSX called Night Knight which is looking pretty good.
The only one we don't cover is he who must not be named and I guess there is plenty of places to find that, like Citrus#$40
