I have been able to find a Arduino project to get one of these chips working again so I will have to have a read up. I am on a buying embargo at present so it won't be for a while. Paypal Pay-after-Delivery = EPIC FAIL ! ! !
I've embedded that clip here just so folks can more speedily access and listen to the Stephen-Hawkins-wannabe project chirping away there - great stuff, blending the old with the new!!
ABOVE: Richie is on to something here and a little later Oricians can get the FULL low-down on the whole article and see/hear the real thing "in the flesh" talk back to 8BitBaz via the Atmos as the board really does talk easily (not sure about clarity, though) once given a suitable.... POKE or two!
What's a 3rd party Arduino? Is that one that isn't an Arduino
I could swap you one for a Cumana board !
It's a 3rd party clone of the Arduino Nano board. As the project is open source other people can make their own Nano's but they all conform to the standard set by Arduino so they are all compatible and the code works on them all. Here is a link for the one I have spare.
