Agreed, Al. The Amstrad has been massively overlooked in general, I feel, among retro micro enthusiasts and deserves some attention on this forum. Perhaps many folks haven't had a chance to see it and hear about it but we're about to put that right, yeah?! It does seem that way, especially in the UK. French support has always been really good. In fact I still remember drooling over the screenshots of Get Dexter when it was first released! Of course my Atari 800XL is always going to be my number one machine but that doesn't mean we can't have dabble in other systems from time to time. Apart from the C64, that's just too washed out looking for me lol. Have you had much of a chance to play with your Amstrad yet? The TZXDuino is really easy to use (apart from Chase HQ) and some of the games are suprisingly good. Although I do think a DDI-3 with ram upgrade is definitly on the cards at some point. Also Fusion Retro Books are going to be doing an AMTIX annual this year which should hopefully be up to their usual high standard.

Quick question for Vyper68 - probably going to go for the DDI-3 when finances allow. Is it worth paying extra to get the memory upgrade on it? So far I've seen it for sale on retroforsale from Zaxon. Or is one of the other versions (DDI-4, 5) a better choice? I only want to run .dsk images with a flash floppy firmware. Cheers
