Seeing as I asked for this sub folder i guess I better make use of it.
So for a kick-off let's start with peoples Amstrad set-ups keeping it to current ones on this thread.
I'll go first...
I have a CPC464 Version 2 and i also have a slightly "dinged" CTM-644 Colour Monitor... no extra bells and whistles yet but they are coming. I have added a 3.5mm Audio Jack wired to the Datacorder's PCB to allow me to play in cassette images ( CDT files ) off a laptop rather than using the in built cassette. The downside is there is no control on playing the image the way the Amstrad would when using the in-build Datacorder.
I've got a Schneider 6128 which of course is identical to the original CPC 6128, I think it's slightly more robust (built in Germany). And I also own an Amstrad CPC 464 that I recently acquired from UK at a very reasonable price with a few tapes.
I don't have 3" diskettes for the 6128 except for one that the guy who sold it made especially for me and it's a copy of Chessmaster 2000 (yes, I like chess software). So me too, I'm actually looking for some disks with software on, at least until I will purchase an M4 board.
What I am really proud of is the scart video cable that renders a crystal clear picture on all the monitors that I tried so far. It can be used with both models and it works seamlessly.
One of these days I'd like to use them more than I did so far, for gaming and programming (Z80 assembly mostly) purpose.
