You should ask Matt to do some of his A8 rendering on that and get it uploaded for an Atari art slideshow?
Anyway, I was asked to take the photos at my mate's daughter's wedding the August before last (when I was still a young fella in his 40s...ahem), and I think this was the best of the bunch as it captured something of the fun of the day:
ABOVE: Shot on a Nikon D3100 DSLR. I've not the foggiest idea of the shutter speed, f-stop or ASA... wait on, I'll get me dad...
As ever, comments appreciated and as we've shown you a few of ours - gerrem out, lads - it's time we saw yours!
Well Jingle all the bloody way!!!. we don't usually get hit like this in the Midlands. The surrounding hills usually break up the worst of any weather systems.
The "dusting" (couple of inches of Friday soon gave way, and Saturday's occasional "stray Northern Flake" looked like that was that.
4am this morning, and Wales and the Midlands look like we're getting what the north of the country had Friday - currently 10 inches deep, which is quite a "load" for 5 hrs. Still, it'll all be filthy slush by Tuesday. So I thought I'd make the most of a photo opportunity.
These were all taken [early morning 3 hrs ago, before 4" became what's currently 10"] 2017-12-10 Walkwood, Redditch, Worcs
Black cats are the best. We had one called Harvey, he was huge and very loving, tragiclly he was hit by a car, some arse brick face killed him in a desperate attempt to break the speed limit, maybe he wanted a bag of chips before anyone else.
I don't know about transferring pics from your phone to the forum, as I've never done that before as I haven't got a smart phone, but from a PC/laptop, it's a doddle - so if you can transfer your pics from your phone to your PC - do that and then...
1) Create a post and then use the INSERT IMAGE icon (look at the row of icons - they tend to appear only if you CREATE or EDIT a post - the one you want is EIGHT in from the RIGHT hand side)
2) I then PASTE an IMAGE ADDRESS from the pic you want to place - which you get from an image hosting site - to which you have previously uploaded the shot!
Try IMGUR - works every time for me.
It sounds complex, but it aint, Thark, mate.
I'll give you a buzz and talk you through it if you want, fella?
Let us know how you get on - imagine the THARKANOID'S shots gracing the forum, lads - it will be like a view from "unknown worlds" !!
Yes Baz, it's the Grand Prismatic Spring, the red-orange colour is due to bacterias living in sulphuric water, and the sort of fog on the surface is actualy steam. And yes this is an actual picture of the US 2017 Great Eclipse I took in St Anthony, Idaho.
Nice black cats you have!

I most certainly do not live in a wildlife reserve (last time I checked, Prague is still a city full of bricks and concrete). All shots (except the lemur) are from a rural area near my grandma's cottage. The lemur, on the other hand, has been photographed in Prague's ZOO.
