Guys, there are SO MANY Pacman clones, copies and variations out there, ranging from the original Namco release to versions called Gobbleman, Puckman and of course sequels such as Ms Pacman/Pac-Land etc.
I was quite taken by this Intellivision version the other day and wanted to share it with you - what do you make of it in terms of sound, graphics and an accurate take on the original but with a slightly different twist as regards the amended screen/maze layout?
Are you a fan of the Atari 8bit conversion and prefer our own release instead or are you an Intellivision impressario and enjoy the illluminations from this not-so-very-often covered console on this forum?
If I only had an Intellivision, then yes, that is an acceptable clone and looks better than most clones I've seen. But nothing compares to Pac-man, Ms. Pac-man, Pac-man Junior and Super Pac-man on our Atari's, too me. Especially with the new Pac-man arcade hack which makes something very good, brilliant. I'd definitely choose the above clone over Pac-man on any other console at the time, except maybe the 5200 version, which is, of course, really an 8-bit Atari version.
