You come across as such a sound, decent, grounded, good-humoured and well-balanced fella who despite the crap and challenges that life slings at us from time to time, always manages a wry smile and makes the rest of us p**s our pants.
I can see yer already a bit of a legend in the retro Atari community, bud, and I've only known you a few months on here, but what shines through is your honesty and plain-speaking facts when it comes to obsessed and wanky 'knobs' who don't know where to draw the line and seem to think that a life GLUED to one of these things, is somehow worthy of adulation, awe and wonder.
As you say, there's something called REALITY and THE REAL LIFE, friends and family. There's nature waiting for us to explore and 1001 other things/hobbies/interests/music/art/drama places to visit rather than be chained to one of these machines 24/7.
Your daughter's interests sound cool and just what a teenager needs - so much good and well-being springs from an interest in art, fashion and design with the creativity and 'newness' of other cultures.
These FaceAche, Twatface, FaceTube and social media/video game addicts really do need a proper injection of the drug called life and do need to get some therapy away from the rot that has hypnotised them.
Everything in moderation has gotta be the best advice.
