OK, nothing uber new here other than the folks who produce PRO(C) ATARI mag - ie. Markus and the ABBUC gang - seem also to be associated with these guys (whom I'm sure Fred knows more about) and here they are on their own You Tube channel - VIRTUAL DIMENSION - reviewing a string of 8bit and 16bit games, and I've chosen GET UP!
I like their cool, laid-back style and use of so-called 'green screen' technology to overlay themselves on top of the software running in the 'background'.
I'm not sure whether we've ever covered these guys before but let me give credit once more to Markus Rosner & Jan-Soren Haas for bringing them to my attention as I read through issue 6 of PRO(C).
With articles from Steve Snicklin, Andreas Koch and I thought I'd seen a name-drop for our very own Fred Meijer (maybe not), certainly Charlie Chaplin's in there too!
I'll take a look into Virtual Dimension, but I already spent more time then I ever would have otherwise, playing and reviewing Get Up! for the last issue of EXCEL. I have no desire to waste my time seeing another review of it. I already know the game will never be loaded onto my Atari again, there are too many far better games to spend my time playing. Even amongst the ABBUCC games I reviewed! Remember the home console video game crash of '83/84? It was due to a flooded market of games of this quality.
