It may be a while before I can afford one, but it's nice to know I can get a new version, with updates, since I'm working on the old 1200XL PBI. I was mainly thinking of Sys-check II board through PBI since I'm happy with my MyIDE II for an HD solution, but I'm starting to salivate over this MIO. I'll have other Atari's I can donate the MyIDE II, too, soon enough anyway. I could paint the case to match my XL line...maybe it's time to start a piggy-bank fund.
Of course it is possible this is out of date and this guy is no longer producing. That seems to happen a lot in the Atari community. But they are produced on demand apparently, so there's a chance you could coax the guy into making more.

well metalguyy66 is still very active on AAge and the website appears to work (in places)
I haven't seen MG lately, but it's good to know he is still around because I know he's been dealing with some things offline and so his free time hasn't been his, so to speak.
You are being watched. The government has a secret system... A system you asked for to keep y-y-you sssafe. A Machine that spies on you every hour of every day. You've granted it the power to see everything, to index, order, and control the lives of ordinary people. ======== TL;DR: More Atari 8-bit hardware and peripherals than I'll EVER use. But I'd LOVE to land me an Atari PC-2, PC-3, or PC-4!!
You know, it doesn't matter to me anyway after all. I got a bit excited at the thought of new with updates vs. old, used and possibly non-functional. Until I remembered Dropcheck's 1090XLR box project and once that's done, drop-in cards will be able to do much more than MIO and Black Box's can offer. I'll wait for that and just see about getting a Sys-check II to play with my new PBI until the 1090XLR arrives. Maybe then we'll get a Sys-check III card for the 1090XLR!
8bitbaz: Oh, I'm sure you did, fella. It's my memory again. I d'load these menus but I don't always git chance to go through them all: I must have a bash at these Auras though as they seem to have some cracking bits n bobs onboard. Cheers Brenski & Baker.

Baker: I thought I'd posted his site somewhere before on AS, though at that time some of the Synapse area was still "under construction" and the Electronic Novels weren't there. lots of great stuff from all over the world all categorized by country and publisher

8bitbaz: Some beauties archived-away there, mate. It's like Christmas all over again!

Baker: click on games at the top, then Synapse, then electronic novels. You will still have to get the books and manuals from Atarimania where the uncracked versions are at.

8bitbaz: Cheers, Baker. I will investigate... Many thanks

8bitbaz: Yes, we seem to have hit another spell of the 'great and the good' passing-on, Brenski. That voice of Delores was indeed something else. My Cranberries faves: Zombie, Ridiculous Thoughts and Desperate Andy...can't think why

Baker: Here you go Baz, you still need two drives with both disks in on side 1, when it comes to the password from the book it just shows the hacker's name, no password needed, just continue mrbacardi.000space.com/?i=2

8bitbaz: It's not perfect, this new shoutbox, Fred, ie. the BOLD doesn't really look much bolder than normal type and it seems to be italic by default, but I do prefer it to the original, so well done, Brenski. What do other peeps think?
Jan 16, 2018 20:03:37 GMT
8bitbaz: Baker - I'm very interested in those electronic novels - please drop me the link, buddy. Tim, you sound "snowed under" with work, mate. Drop in here for some leisure time whenever you can, fella.

8bitbaz: I'm just back from driving through a blizzard in the wilds of Holderness just east of 'Ull. Rum do. Couldn't see a damn thing: white over. Mind, thawing out there now.

timothykline: Thanks, 8bitbaz! Incredibly, I'm still pulling 50-hour work-weeks, so makes it tough to participate, much less fawn over my Atari gear. So, I try to stop by for brief visits to see what I get to miss out on.

Mclaneinc: Yes, a little confusing...
Jan 16, 2018 18:35:35 GMT
Fred_M: To be honest I think the old shoutbox was much easier to read... What do the other users think?
