OK, so it's just a You Tube selection of Atari software with kinda (loose) Halloween connections, but worth a look as some of the titles look like continental rarities and/or homebrews; the highlights for me:
8:00 Easy Money - really nice character graphics;
19:15 Deathland - top notch atmospheric music;
26:40 Darkness Hour - looks well worth an all round look - really jolly soundtrack;
35:28 Some very creepy sonics going on (weird game alert!)
39:50 Ballcracker sounds like something Brenski needs to head-off his personal frustrations, but it's actually some weird Breakout/Arkanoid clone...with ghosts! Some appear to be skipping... don't even ask.
45:20 Crypts of Egypt looks class - think Thark sent me a copy about 2yrs ago and I can't always get it to load properly.
58:30 Commodore Invaders is a laugh and the kind of p**s-take Brenski used to send to me back 'in the day' - fun, if little else.
I checked out the first two games on the video so far, both are games I've never played or seen before. The first one I didn't see any title for, I could read that it is a Frank Cohen game and cracked by The Master, but saw no game title. Both it and the second game, Easy Money do look interesting, especially Easy Money. I've probably seen that title on the 8-bit download sites before and just ignored and skimmed right by it due to the strange, and obviously mis-leading title, but it just goes to show that you can't judge a game, or book, by it's cover...or title. I'll have to check them out and watch some more of the video later.
